Enough of the prim and propper
No more escargot and champagne
I'm done with smiling and posing
and impressing the boring and vain
I want to run down an alleyway
into the arms of my fella'
I want to get drenched in the rain
and not take out my umbrella
I want to get my hands dirty
and tear my dress on a twig
I want to sit by the fire
pick up a beer, take a swig
I'm done with my boring existence
and all responsible things
I'm ready to let go...
I'm ready to spread my wings
